I parked my car yesterday and the 1JZ-GTE is being removed to be placed into a 1989 MZ20 Soarer. My car will return to the strip soon, with a 1.5JZ, Trust T78-29D Turbine kit, 850 injectors, HKS cams, full suspension and very nice tires. I hope you can keep up, if not we'll cruise anyways :love:
This is true, once I shifted into 2nd you pulled right by, but I did kick some booty off the line... :naughty: (For whatever reason I couldn't ever get boost to stabilize when I installed the Profec-B...tried every freakin' setting...but still boost would jump up to 11-12psi for about 1k rpm then drop down to 8psi...I sure hope this doesn't happen with the T4... ).
Oh shit, nice! If I had the money (read: not in school, lol) I would definitely do that swap as well...there's no reason not to! If you're running a T78 there's no way I'll be able to keep up, haha! Not to mention your injectors will have 2x the HP potential of my stockers! :icon_razz
