I'm sure that T4 will make a big difference, I'd probably have to work to keep up. I did pull pretty good on you with my bald Dunlops, my traction actually got better with old Toyo snow tires lol.

I parked my car yesterday and the 1JZ-GTE is being removed to be placed into a 1989 MZ20 Soarer. My car will return to the strip soon, with a 1.5JZ, Trust T78-29D Turbine kit, 850 injectors, HKS cams, full suspension and very nice tires. I hope you can keep up, if not we'll cruise anyways

This is true, once I shifted into 2nd you pulled right by, but I did kick some booty off the line... :naughty: (For whatever reason I couldn't ever get boost to stabilize when I installed the Profec-B...tried every freakin' setting...but still boost would jump up to 11-12psi for about 1k rpm then drop down to 8psi...I sure hope this doesn't happen with the T4... :( ).

Oh shit, nice! If I had the money (read: not in school, lol) I would definitely do that swap as well...there's no reason not to! If you're running a T78 there's no way I'll be able to keep up, haha! Not to mention your injectors will have 2x the HP potential of my stockers! :icon_razz

But anyways, I'm loving these HIDs...only one comment in 20 posts...heh...

Your HID's look awesome. They will keep the back of my car well lit as I pull away lol

Your car is sweet tho, reminds me of my old blue MA70.

You kicked my ass out of the hole, but i was running the gay 205 16's the car came with and they really suck

Can you post a pic of the HID Lows and the Highs next to eachother for comparison? I'd like to see just how much the pattern changes...

I come from a land down under
I got a set of 55w HIDs and the pattern is much the same as stock just a LOT brighter!

Whenever I pull up to a set of lights people in other cars look over expecting a UFO.

They make road signs glow.

Wedge..where was your car headed today? I seen it on the move at 130

Behind a tow truck? :\

Fucking water pump leaking like a sieve...Temp. goes wayyyy up...can't drive it anywhere so I had it towed to Toyota...going to cost $400 just to reseal the fucking thing...

And here I thought a rebuilt engine/new parts meant no problems...

Why don't we tow it to my house and fix it for half of that?
Unless you want the Toyota warranty on the work.?

Could do that but they called just before I posted and didn't know I had that option, heh.

The warranty would be nice too...I'm hoping.

Still have no idea how this would happen...I sure hope the pump didn't crack, otherwise that's an extra $196... :(

I honestly don't know how taking off the pump, fitting the gasket and re-installing it would take 4 hours. It's right in front of the freakin engine!!
