Thought I would post my introduction of myself and my 1997 RZ Supra, or Kristel (limissmkIII) would not forgive me....... :sarcasm:
Anyway, I bought the car around 4 years ago after selling my SZ Supra that I had owned for 3 years. The TT was totally standard and I've attached a couple of photos of it when it was black.
12 months later I had decided to respray it as I wasn't a fan of the colour, plus it had swirl marks everywhere, so I booked it in but it wasn't due into the shop for another couple of months so I thought I would take the opportunity to head to the local race track with another car club. Well this was a bad idea, as I had not even reached the 4th corner when my 1st turbo decided to die on me (only found this out after I drove it home). So this would mean that I had to postpone the respray and look for a replacement turbo/s.
What happened next was a stroke of luck as one of the guys here decided to sell his T78 single turbo set up of around 1000 kms old, so I took the opportunity to grab it.
Another 12 months down the track I finally saved up enough money to get it resprayed. I took the opportunity to put a new bonnet (Abflug) and front bar (TRD) on, both knock offs, can't afford the real stuff...... :icon_bigg
The latest thing I have done to the car, asthetically (sp??) was to put lambo hindges on. I'm still not sold on this as they are very heavy to pull down. If you look closely, you might see part of Kristel's car in the background. :naughty:
