Hi my names Dat. My grammer might be weird to some people since we Texan talks different hehe. But I am from DFW Texas. Mainly Haltom Texas. I use to drive a supercharge Toyota solara but sold it. I just recently brought an 87 Supra and its currently in the shop getting the charging system fix. It was a manual non-turbo but recently had a turbo 7M swap into it. The car is stock and hoping to get to know everyone better on here. Been searching and reading this forum for the past 2 weeks so finally thought I'd join.

lived in greenville for a few years ~ honestly never heard of haltom heh. dallas is a great place to live around with a supra plenty of shops incase you dont want to do work yourself

I wont ignore anyone. I use the search function all day long and only ask questions when I give up after 30 plus minutes of search. I am also still a newbie so you probably know more then I do.

Yes sir I am on DallasImport with the same screen name. I did not get much info from there so I join this forum for more people with knowledge. I want to make my car run right.


At this point I really just want my car to run dependably and as stock as possible. Im just going to clean the car inside out and repaint it with a new coat of white paint. Then I want to drop it on new coil over with 16/17 inch rims. From there I just want a new turbo back exhaust that is not load (Because my stock one is too old and it could be clogged slowly from years of running rich). Then I jsut want to do a custom projector headlight and the rest of the car even the motor will remain stock and clean. Nothing fancy.

A lot of north Fort Worth people have non turbo automatic Supras. It gets boring.
