i did that too.. my filter was seized so i shoved a driver through it and pried it loose.

And um... just MY suggestion.. i really wouldn't use the supra for roadtrips all around the country.. In all honosty.. the supra really isn't a reliable vehicle stock. i'd consider road tripping if it had a metal headgasket and ARP's though.. along with replaced bearings.. Just buy a civic for 1,000$ and use it to drive all around.. keep those miles off the baby..

VERY nice paint by the way.. it looks like a very nice car..

cant take to garage, I have no oil (did the drain and went to remove filter) and have holes in my filter. I mean I will get it, just taking time. Time I can be using to do other things on this lovely car.

And I have a hyundai for my reg driving car, so if I wanted a Honda to road trip, I'd just shoot myself. I got the supra to bring out and cruise in once in awhile. I love it :}

Nice looking supra.

I'd take mine across the country if I knew what HG it had on there. Mine has 228xxx on it, I'm not too worried about the miles.

Aww not strong enough to get an oil filter off? I'm picturing Kip from Napoleon Dynamite now...

But seriously, the oil filters are a PITA on these cars. I always used a pry bar and wedged it between whatever I could to turn the filters off. I've made the mistake of putting filters on outside the car (where they are easy to get to and therefor over-tighten) and resorting to drastic measures.

Welcome to the site. There isn't anything about these cars you can't find on here.

Love the blue, btw.

*edit*
I just got onto your site...
The Double Underhook Flipping Piledriver (I assume from the vid anyway) looks like a real mother of a move... How long does it take to learn something like that? lol

THANKS! That's my finisher actually. I been wrestling for about 5/6 years so took me quite a few to learn it.

we got a new video up!

And what do you mean putting the filter on outside the car?

I only know one way to put it on!

Like when the engine is out of the car for a swap or w/e...

LMAO I wish i had that luxury. Then it wouldnt be stuck.

And MAYBE I am turning it the wrong way, but I tried both ways and am pretty sure im going the correct way for loosening lmao.

I wish it was that simple. tomorrow i will spend hours until I get it. My only day off of classes so I will see what happens.

Autozone or Oreily's and get a filter wrench made to fit a 3/8's drive wratchet and your good to go. Works everytime for me and I never have a problem. Need to do a relocation kit with all the fancy coolers and what not but haven't gotten that far yet.

Finally got it...

I had tried...

Cap Oil Filter wrench, Strap Wrench, jamming Screwdriver (tire iron), and channel locks.

FInally the mixture of jamming a tire iron into the side of the filter and crushing and turning with the channel locks prevailed.

The filter cap wrench didn't work because the oil lines are close and it couldnt fit between them. somehow i got the channel locks in though.

A 2 week oil change!

Got in my IC Lower Hardpipe today, so tomorrow I will do that!

ugh lets see what waits ahead.

Just like I figured,

Installed the Lower IC hardpipe... You know the one that goes straight from the bottom of the turbo to the IC.

OK job well done right?

Now I may have a TPS problem, everytime I rev up a lil and abruptly let off the gas, i stall. This is scary as hell!

Aside from that my front left tire is going to hell, angling inward on the bottom, so my car pulls hard left and sounds like I am dragging a dead body.

Updates as soon as I figure out my next step.
