So i read the HG section, and it says that the stock HG is 1.37mm but i see alot of brands making 1.2mm now i figure this is for lower compression which is good for boost im pretty sure..

my question is, im probably going to get my head milled, buying ARP studs and a MHG where would you suggest i go shopping to find these parts for the best deal and what size MHG do you think i should grab? (if you can suggest before knowing milling details)

I believe it is all dependant on how much your machine shop takes off. But some good places to get parts are ebay (Just Kidding), try horsepowerfreaks.com, driftmotion.com and I think Titan sells head gaskets as well. The ARP's you get anywhere. But once you go to those other sites I have listed it will be like a kid in a candy store. LOL

1.2mm is thinner than stock which will increase compression...along with milling a block and head...

You want to keep as close to factory compression as possible so you'll have to wait till after the head is milled...ask the machinist to measure the head before and after milling so you know how much was cut off...then you add that amount to the headgasket so it lifts the head up to the correct height.

I purchased my headgasket from JSCspeed.com as they are only 30min from me and they had them in stock....their prices are very competitive!

There are many vendors on this site also

driftmotion
sip
Zankoku performance

list goes on and they all have good prices!

A 1.2mm MHG is useful on a NA motor ;)
At stock CT26 boost a 1.2mm MHG will give a bit more bottom end power. I would not push boost very much (if any) over stock due to the increased dynamic compression that results...you are asking for a detonation event.
