I made my first post in another thread that was calling out for later MKIII Supras and received a nice welcome from te72 to post here...so hey everyone at SM!
I’ve owned two ’87 non-turbos, one light blue w/dark blue int and a maroon w/gray, and an ’89 turbo targa maroon w/lt gray…all manual trans. By about ’97 they were sold and I got into M3s starting w/a ’95 and now have an ’05 that I do driving schools with a few days a year at Watkins Glen. I've installed catless headers, underdrive pulleys, CAI, adjustable coil over suspension, and a nitrous system with two 10lb bottles that helps it run 12.5 secs @ 115mph (http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=206519).
It’s been a while since I’ve owned a Supra…but always liked them and think they still look cool. One of my ’87s I got from my Dad who was a Supra guy before me. Then he spec’d and ordered this ’92 turbo targa, black on shadow grey, manual trans, and it currently has 59k orig miles w/no accidents and completely stock. He even has the ’92 factory Toyota shop manual. I remember how my ’89 turbo used to feel faster to me than his ‘92…always thought it was because he never spooled up the turbo enough and took it easy all the time. Unfortunately a few weeks ago he passed and now it’s in my garage.
While it’s brought back a lot of nice memories I don’t think I’m going to keep it and trying to assess its value. I was thinking ones like this would be more like just under $10k…even with the year, specs, unmolested condition, mileage, and rarity. Any thoughts?

te72 said:First off, welcome to Supramania, should post up in the introductions section with some pictures of the Bimmers. Second, sorry to hear of your father's passing, looks like he took very nice care of that car, if you don't intend to keep it, I'm sure someone would give it a good home. I personally wouldn't set the price even a dollar less than $10,000 for that.
