Hey I'm Kenneth I've been looking into these cars for a long time now.. I live in Lancaster, California. I'm a student at our local College trying to become an Electrican. At the moment I drive a 92' 3kgt vr4 <--- fun, yet to damn expensive to maintain (just rebuilt motor and other mods 5+K in mostly stock parts, I did all labor!). But I'm burnt out and selling it now, Does anyone have or know of one in California for under 5K?? must be 89' or newer and have a 5-speed. no body damage.... Black (best), silver/gray, and or white would be all great colors.

I'm looking into running low to mid 11's with my next car and was wondering whats everyones opinions of the turbo company "Master Power"? I agree with this saying -you get what you pay for- so I'll like people reviews on them... So far it looks like the ct26/60-1 and the t66 turbos are golden on the supras.. Mainly for upgrades... So how many people run into the 11's low 12's (7mgte people) with less then 25psi (no nitrous)????

Thanks again, Kenneth Kell

Welcome Kenneth,

MKIII's are heavy, about 3600 lbs. It's going to take around 600-700 rwhp to get into the mid 11's, about 500rwhp to get into the mid 12's (I could be wrong, I'm sure someone will chime in if so). Upgrading a CT-26 has yeilded a high of 468rwhp to date (although I'm am going to try to top that).

Try the car trader mag at the dairy (12th st east on ave 'I')....$1.

or trader.com just put your zip code in and then spread out to 100 miles.

There was one not long ago on the lot on 'J' and Date, white turbo, automatic (you could swap to 5sp), 120k. I checked it out. It ran real good. Interior needed some seat work. They wanted $5900. Always offer at least $2000 less at used car lots. If its been there for a month, they'll bargain with you.

If you go auto or are a good driver, 11's can be had a little easier then lead onto. Matt's in the 11's with about 525rwhp (1j/5spd) and duane has gone 11.00000 with about (???550-600rwhp/5spd). There's also final stage down in vegas who is quick along with a bunch of other people who don't want to put up with the forum BS. If you go auto (350 or 400) you'll be there a hell of a lot quicker. If I were doing another car I'd consider the sp61gt (from soundperformance) and the BOSS 550 (from suprasport), the latter of the 2 being more expensive, but with much more hp potential depending on what you go with.

oneandgone is selling his, as you didn't mention budget, I'll throw that in here.

It's already built, not much more that could be done to it, $12,000 plus a ticket to Illinois to pick it up and drive it home.

Err... wait... you're in Cali? Cali sucks. I doubt you could legally drive it on the road there, there's no way most of our vehicles will pass Cali emissions.

Ohhh, such a rare car, why get rid of it? If you've done that much maintenance you've gotten over a major milestone. That car has a lot of potential just like the MKIII (even though it is a different animal). You'll end up doing a lot of maintenance too with a MKIII before any major modification. Just a thought...

Disclaimer: Forgive me Supra Mania. I am an auto enthusiast and I see potential with almost every major manufacturer. I am not brand loyal when it comes to cars. Everybody has a little bit of something I like.
