1st the car idels AWSOME there is a little noise but when i push the clutch in the noise goes away....

2nd the dipstick shows full on the oil whats the pressure thats supposed to show on the OEM gauge?

3rd when i start the car in the AM the check engine light comes on then after the car warms up it goes Off what can it be?

can u be specific on the noise that it is making??
have u done ne tranny work or ne work on the car in that matter?

2nd.. what is yours reading at idle and at high speeds (45-50 mph). i forgot what it should read, u lost your manual? i dont think the oil gauge is accurate, or is that the temp gauge i forgot?

check your codes... go to a shop near you like pep boys or something like that and theyll check what code u have or u can buy one... cuz your going to need one in the long run

If you press the gas pedal while/before trying to start the car, doesn't that trip one of the codes? Do you press the gas pedal when starting? Cuz if you do, you shouldn't need to .

throwout bearing or pilot bearing.

depends on temp and RPM. see the TSRM for acceptable range

check codes, see TSRM.

ha ha ha!!!! so as far as getting rid of the noise im going to have to replace the throw out bearing and might as well replace the clutch too. does it hurt if if i leave it like that for now?

yeah, you'll have to pull it all apart to fix it.

no probs leaving it noisey....if/when it decides to die, you'll know. but chances are that's a long time away.

ok cool its getting cold here so ill wait till it gets nice at least in the 70's...lol the noise is not that bad just annoing...lol and of course im saving $ for a nice clutch set. stage 2 or something.... this weekend im instaling a FMIC i gor for FREE.... is a spearco 24L/15H/3.5W so lets see how it fits anyone have pics of their FMIC set up?
ALSO i had the car idleing and when i went to put my hand down i accidentally placed my hand by the sparkplug wires and it SHOCKED THE HELL OUT of me i looked like DON KING......!!! what can it be?????

bad plug wires.

sounds like the insulation is cracked. remember high V actually travels on the OUTSIDE of the conductor....

i got a set of universal ACCEL 7.7mm wires a while back can i use those?

sure you could use the accels, but why not get the right part?

ive got the same throwout bearing problem in my car but i think the weak clip that came with it is the cause, bought a new one when i put my clutch in and it seemed loose. anyways ive ran it like that for awhile and no problems yet.

lol it was not that bad of a shock i was being funny but anyway a friend of mine got the universal accel wires and he owns a 4 cyl so he still had 6 long wires and he gave them to me FREE so once again i didnt complained..... free is always good.....so whats the right part anyway?
