hey guys, big issue

so here is the deal:

a bit ago, i developed rod knock. the guy i bought my car from, matt, said he'd fix it. long story short, matt said he had ordered the parts, and i just got a call from a guy today whos car matt was supposed be working on. apparently matt has a big gambling problem and didnt do shit to fix any car, and everyone's car he was suposed to be working on is just lying around in his shop. do any of yall know of any good shops in boise or the surrounding area to repair cars? hopefully the car will be getting towed back to boise tonight if everything permits.

I'd get the car out of there as fast as humanly possible in case his shop is closed.

Did he scam you out of any money? If not just have to car towed and be done with "Matt". No issue. If so then take him to small claims court. And get your car away from him quick before he does try to "work" on it.

his "shop" was a garage. and one of the guys who got screwed is helping to tow mine back to meridian idaho from ontario oregon for like $150. apparently the tower's previous car was a supra which had a "bad turbo" in it, and the turbo which is in my car used to be his. thats why he is charging me 150 for the tow, to call it even for the turbo

So did you get the tow guys bad turbo? And, he's cutting you a deal on the tow to make up for getting screwed out of your money buying it?

actually, i found out that the dude was paid for the turbo, so its free and clear mine. and a diff guy will end up towing it, since the guy who was supposed to had to work tonight
