I am 16 years old turning 17 in September. I am going to be looking for a NA Supra. Does anyone in NJ or NY have one there looking to sell anytime in the future? The price range I'm looking for is about 1,500 to 3,200. I need one in driveable shape. I would prefer a manual transmission. Is there anything important I should know before I purchase one? The reason I decided on a NA is because of insurance rates.

I don't plan to. This is just going to be a project car so I can have as long as I need to really fix it up.

Huh, I didn't know this... Would it make a difference when you buy a turbo car and report it to the insurance company? I suppose if they know, insurance rate's going to be higher...

According to the VIN they would see it as NA, right? I wouldn't be any more likely to tell my insurance company of performance upgrades than I would be to tell them about my latest speeding ticket. As it is, my insurance didn't go up a single penny, and I went from a '97 Saturn base model to a '90 GTE / targa. :icon_razz Good luck with your search!
