Hey guys my name is Joe. I am actually in the market of buying a MK3 Supra. I currently live in Seattle WA and will be moving to Chicago in July 2013. I love almost all cars and know a lot about them. I just recently sold my 1987 Nissan 300zx NA2T which I had put a lot of time and money into it and made it pretty fast using the stock vg30et motor. Just wanted to say I look forward to reading all the build threads and seeing what I am able to do to my future Supra. I am going for a 1990 to 1992 models. Thank you...

Welcome to SM.

It's a great place any reason you are only going for 90-92 models ?

There are definitely great build threads on here.

Also any pictures of the Z?

I guess it would be 89-92. I see spoiler differences and I would like to find a targa top and I am not sure what years of supra's they are on. Also I like the lights on the 89+ over the 88 and lower, I understand that they can be swapped but I would rather not. Here are a few pics of my Z I sold and some of the parts I installed on it. I wish I took some updated pics of it.

Targa top is available as options on all 86.5 MK3 and MK4's.. so year is not really critical.
However.. big difference in MK3 and MK4.
MK3 = 86.5 - 92, MK4 = 93 - 98? (I think there was a very limited run of MK3 in 93 but only in Japan.. but I may have read that wrong... there may also be a 99.. but I have never seen one)
