Yes it seems Chuck has fallen off. All good things come to an end, but it makes way for new fighters.
Never liked Chuck Liddell, Quinton Jackson is my fighter.
I would have been PISSED OFF if I paid to see that fight...I would have enjoyed watching paint dry before that piss poor performance by both fighters. Dance around the damn ring like a bunch of fuckin idiots...IMO...Worst fight I have seen in a LONG TIME.

yea seems like both the matt and rick and the liddell and evans fights seemd to just be alot of dancing around for a while..... and both were major upsets IMO
Yep, but your really not missing much...it was all dancing then one hit and it was over....I enjoy watching the guys who are pretty much noobs, they give it their all and don't think, just beat the living shit out of each other trying to win. Some of the best fights come from them.

lighter weight classes are usually much better too. Like roger huerta and urijah faber. They seem to be a lot more on top of their game than the bigger guys
ufc is not what it was years ago though, i like it better before it had rules and was bare knuckle. its not as good if you've seen it the way it was before.
the rules create a lot more competition and it means the athletes have to train much harder than ever before to stay on top. Plus, it was a safety issue. Every sport has to have rules for the safety of the players!
I heard that Anderson Silva can hand pick his opponents. I think that's kinda dumb if its true, especially because he's been picking the non-elite opponents so far.
I think he's a great fighter but I'm still not convinced he is #1 P4P when I really never saw anyone that amazed me in his original division. @ LHW he has some good comp, so I'm hoping after he beats Cote he will fight people a little bit more proven.
