Nice!!! I'm confused though (no surprise!) It appears that your car has a 'factory sunroof',(?) but looks like an 89 or 90 because of the moldings. I always thought the factory 'roof', was only available on the 91/92's?
Non-the-less, very nice looking Supra. Black is definately the very best color for them!:bigthumb:

Yep, it has the factory sunroof. It is a 91. It was originally an Oregon car. I couldn't pass this one up when it came up for sale! :biglaugh:

Yeah, I think the previous owner took the lip off. I've been shopping for one!

Thanks guys! Yeah, Black is definitely my fav on the MKIII's and I finally own one! I was totally stoked when I came across it. I was pretty much sold on it just from looking at pictures of it. Then when I saw it in person...it was all over baby!
I wonder why there aren't many black ones out there. That's how it seems anyway.

Black is not a rare color, any 91-92 is a rare car period. Most 91 -92 are white, red or black. Any other 91-92 colors are rare, some being more than others.
Only 4800 for those two years produced for the US. 2/3 of those are probably white, red, black. Rarest probably garnet red pearl, and teal (thank god)

Well, that makes me even more glad that I rescued it from it's previous owner! He took exception care of it and has receipts for EVERYTHING, it's just that he was pretty young and did things that just make me cringe. Like putting black tube lights inside the car. He used wood screw to mount them right into the trim by the door!!!
I took them out and now have little holes to contend with...
BTW: Where can I find more info like that? Production numbers and such...
