Well when i got my 1j i noticed that the oil pan was cracked and was all dented, there was things missing Like wiring harness and ecu, then i try and turn the crank and the thing is seized:icon_evil so i called the place i got it from "OSAKA" and told them that my oil pan was cracked and that my engine was seized, they told me i had to contact ups, so i did that had to fill out paper work and wait a week and a half for them to get back to me. Ups tells me that there was no insurance on the engine so they where only going to give me 10cents per pound witch is only $60:wtf: , so they said it was between Osaka and me, So i had to take a few pictures and prove to them that it was there engine witch was bs because i have the invoice and everything, but they still wanted that information so i give it to them and they said they would send me a new engine with wiring harness and ecu and if there was anything sensor broken that they would take a good one and put it in a box for me to replace no extra cost. so now i wait.:aigo:
wow i like that a lot.I have primer on my front bumber nose panel and fenders and it looks prety hot.
ya i did at the time but i wish i didnt because there was nothing wrong with my hood. and now there is. O well
well I guess i should do an update with the car and the 1jz. well the car is getting prepped for the 1j right now, have not had a lot of time to work on it here in the last few months but that should change because im getting a new job soon witch is going to be giving me more money. YES. well the 1J has been on a stand waiting very patiently to be dropped in but his master cant afford to put him in right now. well i powder coated the valve covers Candy apple blue. they look really good there not on yet. but they look damn good. i will post some pictures of everything i have done with in the next few days.
I decided to not go 1j because i couldn't afford it, so i ditched it and went with a 7mgte.
The engine 7mgte all stock.
this was taken before i lowered it.
this picture is of the front after it was lowered.
this next one is after the front end settled down.
and here is the whole thing done it still needs to be fine tuned and i think im going to raise the rear about 1/4 -1/2 inch.
Im also thing about lowering the front a little more just to give it the stance i want. but i will look at it for a few days and see where its at.
The suspension is awesome so far i havnt done to much with it but a few little runs but im liking it. i took a 40mph corner at 65 like it was nothing and then the fallowing corner witch is a 40 with a late apex at 75 and the back end started sliding but then it planted it was great some little 4 door accord was trying to fallow me. lol

Lookin good... Any plans for wheels and tires? Will definitely help set off that lowering job...

I have been looking at wheels for a while but haven't found anything that really peaks my interest, there is a guy on here he had the rims i really liked and i saved the picture but them my computer crashed and had to reformat and i cant remember his name for the life of me. i will do some more searching tonight for the wheels. now for tires i have the tires im going to use for the track witch are 10" wide road race Hoosier's that will be mounts to some kind of light weight 15. Now for the Street i was going to go with the fedrial 959's a really good tire for the price.

If you are going to get a quality wheel, go with Advan or Work Equips.
I'm bias towards Advan because they're just what I'm looking for. They're an excellent wheel though.

Dont mind the mess just running some wires for some stuff, i will show later when im done.

Well there will be more tomorrow. I'm going to get a boost gauge tomorrow and put it in and finish up those wires that you see in the first pic, and then i am going to get some 3inch exhaust piping and a fang and make a down pipe here with in the next few day i hope. lol.
