Okay so heres what happend. I just did a fresh rebuild on my 7mgte, and was able to time it without jumping terminals in the fuse box. I got it to idle at a perfect 1000 RPM's then took it for a 2 mile test drive to the gas station and back being careful not going much over 2000 RPM's if at all. Got back home let it cool down. Then decided it would be okay to drive it to work. Drove it 10 miles to work with it running fine, but I was still careful and didnt got much over 2000 RPMs. Let it sit for 5 hours while I was at work and when I went to go start it all of a sudden it started idling at 2500 RPMs I let it run like that just to see if it was my throttle sticking but it wasnt. I shut it off and loosend the CPS and moved it down to slow the idling, went to go start the car and now it wont start at all....

What do you guys think is wrong? Timing?

But how could the timing shift that much just from sitting?

If you time the engine without the jumper in place, the ECU is still controlling the timing. Even if you were able to adjust it a bit, that timing isn't necessarily right. Double check and make sure your TDC mark on the crank lines up with the matchmarks on the cams and then move the CPS back to where you can get the car started. Then use the instructions in the TSRM for timing:

(start at step 6)

lol... I know you jump them in the diagnostic box. Sorry I should of been more specific. I was reffering to what jonahs_supra said. Wheres the ISCV located? But anyways I got it running and figured out one of the cam gears skipped a tooth when it turned off and set the CPS way out of spec.

Does any one have the link to a diagram showing wich terminals are TE1 E1?
