Help with getting MKIII running and tuned with AEM Denver CO

I just picked up a project car locally and wanted to know if anyone would be interested in meeting up and helping me diagnosis why it is not running. It has a AEM computer and looks like it might be a little of a hack job but I wanted to get someone who has a little more knowledge to help me look at it. It runs sometimes but runs really rich. Have you tried downloading a new map for it? Might have been tuned on incorrectly and left as it is. DO you know the mods at all in the car?

I don't really know much about the car which is half the problem. It has injectors of unknown size I just know they are RCs . Upgraded intercooler, intake, exhaust, turbo and front facing intake mani. I don't have a laptop nor the knowhow to tune it at a baseline.
