help with gauge panel

went to take my gauges out, took the four out of five screws out of the black plastic holding the clear plastic on the front and i guess the 5th is stripped out. ill back it out and itll act like its coming out but then just pop and slip right back into place

anyone else had this, and how would i fix it?

im thinking of just takin my panel tool and pushing as im unscrewing to try and let it get some grip.

I'm not sure if I get "exactly" what you're saying but if so, try pulling the panel out (just put some pressure on it) while you are trying to loosen the screw...that should give it some leverage and pop out....If that doesn't work, I don't know...I do know what you're talking about and I hate it when that happens...
