Ok here is my issue. Im planning on running an AE86 GTS EFI fuel tank with my car. It will have an IS300 fuel pump(only 8 bucks thats why im running it) intank. From the tank im stumped. One problem im having is with the pulsation damper. When i got the motor i didnt even know what this thing was. And now after some heavy research i know what it is and does. My question is what do you Supra 1JZ swap guys do to make them part of your fuel system. I tried look at the TSRMS and since i dont have a MK3 i play the guessing game.

So backwards from the rail. There is the feed on the back of the rail with the hard line that goes into the pulsation damper on the engine mount. At the other end of the damper is the banjo bolt where fuel comes through. On my engine this hose was cut. So is this banjo hose to the damper the hose where the fuel comes from the filter? If so do you guys use the factory MK3 fuel line from the filter to connect to it? And i think that if that is right. Then from the other end of the filter the line should go right back into the tank outlet.

Thanks for your help.

If its confusing to clarify let me just ask how does the fuel supply circuit work in a MK3 Supra with a swapped 1JZ from the tank outlet to the rail.

Thanks Mike

yes the fuel goes from the pump to the filter then to dampener. then the hardline off of the fpr is the return. although on my car i dont have the dampener and i dont have any problems. btw i hope you have a strong rear on there!

Got a 1 Ton toyota truck G code 8 inch rear with soon to be installed MK3 LSD.

And ok so what hose or line did you guys use to connect the fuel filter to the fuel rail if you eliminate the damper. You would need a hose with 2 banjo ends long enough to reach. And for those who did leave the damper on a MK3 with engine mount mounted damper what hose did you use.

you can thread a fitting into the end of the fuel rail 12mm x 1.25.might want to put an afpr on there while your at it.

I just experinced kinda the same problem this morning while working on my 1j swap. i bypassed the dampener and my car ran alot better.i dont know why but it does..before it would idle after a couple starts and then when you give it gas it would get to about 4500rpm and die.
