It's in the fuse box by the battery. Try searching "fusible link" if you need more info, it's been discussed at length here quite recently. There were two types used, one looks like a thick wire, the other looks like a huge fuse.

^^ in addition, its says "alt" on the top of the box its your alternator fuse, if you have a fusable link, and its burned up it can be replaced with a one of the big fuses instead.

check the fuse box in the engine bay. look at them carefully. if the link is broken just replace it.

If it's the wire type of fusible link it's bolted in from the bottom. The socketed type don't just drop in... but if that is the problem it wouldn't hurt to switch.

my fusable link burned up, and I switched to the fuse their a lot easier to find, everyone at the auto store around me didnt even know what a fusable link was:nuts:
