I'm partipating in WalkAmerica 2007, a March of Dimes fundraiser for the fight to save babies from premature birth.
I was fortunate to have a healthy son in 2005, but I can't imagine the feeling if he wasn't born healthy or was born prematurely.
Most people don't realize what a devastating problem prematurity is: that it's the leading cause of newborn death; that it has reached epidemic proportions; and that the rate is escalating. The March of Dimes is the organization on a mission to fight prematurity.
You can donate by credit card, cash, check, and paypal in any amount you wish.
My goal is to raise $10,000. . . I can do it 10,000 people, one dollar at a time, or 1000 people, 10 dollars at a time.
