Search on SF, there was an exhaust thread similar to this. One guy posted his and it was exacly what you are looking for. It was a custom 3" catback, looks identical to that HKS Turbo, cept its a Magnaflow muffler. 3" inlet, dual 2.5" tips, full stainless. So its just like the HKS, cept no rust issues. I'll try to find it, and post it up here.

EDIT - Found it, here are some pics. The tips do not come with the muffler, Im sure they can be bought for a couple bucks more. Looks very nice.

Any sound clips, part number, reviews????? I am so ready to get my HKS replaced....

I have a 3" SS system from Random Tech. The muffler is straight through with packing around it.. It sound nice at low rpms.. but above 2000, its too lound.. not all that impressed with it..

JIC Bullit Type II Here.

Its about 4 years old now. so far no rust, it has some kinda coating on it.

The muffler looks like a Apexi GT SPec. Sounds pretty deep.

I'm attaching a video of the it but keep in mind, my car is running on 4 cylinders right now. 5-6 have almost zero compression. I ran a little lean last time out causing some engine damage :icon_redf

If I was gonna do my exhaust again I would get the system Exhaust Depot makes for our cars. N-1 can but its got a resonator so I don't think it would drone as loud as a straight 3in system. I believe its SS too.

If you like a LOUD car with a rice can that makes you a target, go buy your Blitz unit.
YOU must be kidding. Although the Blitz is definitly pretty loud it is far from ricey! It has got to be one of the most throaty "I'm gonna tear you a new one" exhausts I've ever heard. Just because it is loud does not mean its ricey.

On the topic of which exhaust should you get, obviously I support the NUR Spec. It's pretty much been proven to give you the highest performance, along with the RSR, given its one of the few bolt on exhausts that do not have baffels making the piping diameter totally irrelevant. ahem HKS ahem (theres a reason they are quiet)

As well as the fact that if rust matters to you, it is stainless; putting it on the top of the list.

The HKS I have (3" in, with 2 outlets), has a great sound outside, but inside, the drone gives me a headache... it "exponentially" deepens the bass from the sub... Anyways, I may do like it was suggested and just add a resonator of some sort.

I like the way Pioneers' sounds, but I want something a lil' more stock looking.

So do you just have the HKS muffler or what? HKS Catbacks have a resonator.

Just have the muffler... got it used about 5 years back. I guess I can still use it, just don't know enuff about resonators. I think I'll just add one.
