Hey guys,

I need to buy a new 3" downpipe. I have the turbo elbow. The one that is on the car hangs too low (not to mention that i have H&R springs on her) and has pulled the exhaust manifold out of the head ripping the threads. Does anyone know which DP hangs the highest?

Try to find a RT downpipe or have a shop make one. I like having the downpipe and elbow separate. Makes it easier to remove the exhaust when your working on it, but it does provide one more place to have an exhaust leak.

+1 for BIC I have a ddp then recirced and it works great

+2 for a BIC DDP, I have yet to turn on my car but my rerouted DP bolted on perfectly. Only thing with it is that got it with a second 02 bung that gets in the way of the stock heatshield, but a little cutting fixed that.

I say go with a BIC I do not have the personal experience, but there are less canadian companies making things for the mkiii, I heard all great things about his products. Not just good, but great.

Sound, fitment, quality. He makes the original goodies that people ask for. No to mention he is a forum vendor and it's good to support them or they will disappear and we'll be left scratching our...heads, wondering where to get good parts.

Support them and they show it, with sales, promotions, SM.com-only specials etc.

+ 1 for randy's (BIC) ddp. Great quality and fitment. NO modification necessary for installation, which can't be said about some of the cheaper, knock-off options.

surprised how nobody mentioned how restrictive the stock/aftermarket elbow is. get a full down pipe from the turbo (no elbow). bic makes QUALITY work on everything, well worth the price.

Don't go HKS. Hang's stupid low with my Lipp elbow. I'm currently modifying the HKS downpipe to match the Lipp and try to fix the Low hang.

My Exhaust mod list.... RS*R full catback, Test pipe, HKS downpipe, Lipp elbow, Stock CT26.

PS. Friend gave me the HKS and Now I know why.
