HELP!!!! Harness Question

You have to match the harness with the ECU and tranny. The dealer told me that I needed to give them the ECU part number to ensure the new one matches the one installed.
If you don't have an ECU or harness yet, I would match them to the car to ensure the sensors have the greatest possibility of matching.

Background info to clear it up: Devil's car is an 87T Manual. He has everything and his car runs, but he's trying to clear up some electrical gremlins by replacing the harness. His problem came when he called Jay Marks and they said there are 3 different harnesses for that combination. He wants to make sure any of the 3 will work on any other 87. As to my knowledge any 87 or 88 will work on either year.

ok.......I've talked to Dev already about this, but to clarify for everyone else, I've gotten confirmation from someone more knowledgable than I and that I've trusted with my own problems............all 87/88 harnesses will work.........
