I bought a 91 GA70 bumper, clear turn signals, grills (thx tubbie), and euro fog lights (thx Ish) are on the way. I have an 88 but want the newer style, I love it.

I have kept my front "nose" piece. I've heard that some change it, but one can use the stock 88 one. Do I have to drill holes or something, somewhere? I haven't checked yet, but I don't wanna mess something up. Has anyone done this swap?

it's a straight up swap. i dont believe you need to change the nose cones. everything should bolt right up, and line right up.

Can someone post the pics here? I've been waiting to be officially registered on Supraforums forever now and can't see the diagrams.

YMMV, but when my car was getting repaired I bought a new 89+ nose panel but it had pre 89 supports (unbeknownst to me). The body shop got it all put back together when they found that for some reason all the turn signal mounting locations are wrong. For them it was just a matter of relocating some tabs

Correct me if I'm wrong. Those pictures are from Bob (outofstep) when he did the swap. You might be able to get some more info from him. :naughty:

Edit: DOH! I didnt check the above link. Yeah that's his post from a while back. I'm pretty sure he was still in Tucson then, so that's how I remember.

Sup,I did the conversion also, But I bought everything new from Toyota. The only thing that I noticed that was different (Part number wise) was the metal support for the upper noise piece. The 86-88 one does not have the upper mounting holes for the lower bumper. As for everything else it bolts up, but I also went with the 92 upper lip.
