hey i've been having some trouble getting rid of this old purple tint crap on those little rear windows. tried all sorts of stuff and so far the only thing actually making progress is getting it off with a knife. Any body know a super easy way. Thanks:1zhelp:

cut a trash bag to shape of rear window. then spray amonia and apply plastic bag so it adhers to the window. this allows the amonia to soften the glue without evaporating. being in the sun will grately aid this process. Pull back bag partly just enough to get at a little bit of the tint, have amonia spray availible to keep it wet, pull the tint trying to geep it together as one peice.

garbage bag, cut and turn it inside out. Spray water on the bag and press on tint side of window. leave doors closed and in sun for 6-8 hours carefully pull off garbage bag.

Tint should come off in relatively big pieces. After go back over with hair dryer, razor and water solution.

Be careful with the razor blade on the rear glass...remember you have the defog heating element on there ;) You don't want to accidently sever a line.
