Help Fixing a Quarter Panel

so my quarter panel is smashed in and rusted at the well.
Has anyone ever tried to chop a quarter off another supra and weld it on? this is like brain surgury isn't it? how should i go about this? what should i do?

i have the rear quarter panel cut outs from mello's car. (and they're still yellow, haha)

haven't welded them in yet, but yes, it can be done.

Welding them in isn't the easiest job in the world, but certainly doable. Over fenders work as well.

Don't just cut the rust out though - be sure to inspect the back of the panel - usually rust is much worse than it appears. After cutting and welding, the back of the panel should be coated with rust inhibitor.
