Need help, i locked my keys in my car, i have a whole jimmy kit, but don't know where to look to try to open this. I have wedges in between the window and the door, is the mechanism to get this open near the power lock or where you put the key in. I sure hope someone knows this or im going to have to call a locksmith, and my battery is running too. If someone knows this please post.

When this happened to me, I had to call the wife. She woke up the kids, packed them into the SUV, drove the 45 minutes to where I was trapped outside in freezing weather, and delivered the spare key that she keeps in her purse.

What a pain in the ass. :(

shit

This story is no shit 100% truth:

I locked my keys in the car. When the dude came to unlock it he did it the wrong way and fucked up my tint. He didnt know what he was doing.

Later that day my car developed rod knock from the crank walk induced by the high pressure clutch.

While I was trying to nurse it home, a gigantic rock flipped up from a passing truck and hit the center of my windshield. It left a fist-sized mark on my windshield and scared the shit out of me.

A couple of miles later I realized that there was no way I was going to make it home. The knock was getting louder and I was losing oil pressure.

I pulled over right away and turned it off.

Then the top gasket of my radiator blew out.

So your day really doesnt sound too bad. I hope you work it out though.

Guys thanks for all the help, and especially those who took the time out to call me. Much Appreciated. I ended up calling some jerk bag from a lock smith company who opened it in 30 seconds and charged me 124. What a crock of shit. Talk about a bad day, me too. I dropped about 400 dollars today on shit i never needed to today.

did he cut you a key on the spot like a bad-ass lock-smith or did he just pry the door shel away from the window w/ some plastic wedges and use some metal rods to poke around?

i had a guy do that in my apt complex parking lot and musta bent up some rods in the door. ever since then, i couldnt lock the with the switch. it was out of adjustment or something. only the lock switch would make it work.

btw... why would he have to delete or edit his own post? i see nothing wrong with it...

damn, he ripped you off...

I locked my keys in my mom's geo metro when I was in Austin (3 hours from home), and I needed them out NOW or I'd miss the cruise.

Locksmith got there in less than 15 minutes and poped the lock in 10. Charged me $30 but I gave em a $50 for being so quick and doing it right...
