Alright, so heres how the story goes. I washed up the engine compartment today, let it dry out for a couple of mins (35-1hr) I then go to work, on my way there i noticed that the battery light and lamp failure lamp turn on, the gauges and what not still work fine, i quickly ran home to test to find my voltage is at 12 its not charging, i looked into the tsrm checked all fusible links and fuses, all wires and belt is in spec, I even got a alternator from a well known working mk3, and still is the same thing, all fuses and stuff are fine nothing broken or anything, its just today that this happened. is tehre anything else i can check in the engine bay that got wet supposedly? Any help is greatly appreciated, I just need this car for work, let me know guys, thanks!!
