I had a very similiar problem in my garage one night when I was changing my clutch on the floor.

I believe him when he says thousands... it really was astonishing. They went away by themselves soon after, I haven't seen them since then.

idunno, only thing in the basement is my computer and a pool table its an unfinished basement and there arnt any water leaks ect ect.

and tonight when i was pulling apart my 1jz they were all over the garage and half way up the walls.

btw, three millipids(sp) where killed in the making of this post.

flames would make the bugs burn and smell awful. i'd get some harsh corrosive chemical, maybe acid. watch them all slowly melt.
