Alright guys I just got the 1jz back up and running, I went for a spin down the street and when i came back i noticed i had a boost leak, checking around and there was a hole in a coupler going into the IC on the hot side. I went to the parts store and came back with a new coupler and installed it, went for another run same thing. This time i noticed that the IC pipes were so hot you couldnt touch them (it was about 100 degrees outside) so maybe this along with 18psi made the couplings fail? The car has ran in hot weather before but would the outside air temps be the cause of this? or something else possibly? It burst on my 18psi run, Anyone know what would cause the IAT's to increase to this degree? my afr's look good, maybe too much timing?
