Yep its N/A.. for now. i want to put a 1jzgte in it eventually, thats my main goal. Right now im just fixing the little things wrong with it. Right now the big one is the weather stripping on the Targa top. Got one from Toyota. told me it was 1 of 10 they had left in usa.. hah

yes it is a 5spd. Why you say ditch the 1jz swap? and it i was to turbo it i would just turbo the current engine and build it with pistons crank build heads and stuff. But whats so bad about 1jz swaps?

7mge-t is much more complicated than a whole gte swap if you know what you are doing then go ahead try 7mge-t, but 7mgte > 7mge-t. 1jz and 2 jz are more expensive but are more reliable. Not saying you cant build a 7m right and have it just as reliable but it deff is much harder to have a reliable 7mgte making good power.

I could prolly built a 7mge-t.. But who knows. ive built a few engines before. But the draw to a 1jz is that ive heard they are reliable, i like the name of them, like that matters haha, and the notion that they are twin turbo'd also. I would prolly keep it twin. but might go big single. Who knows at this point.

Lack of a spoiler tipped me off to NA ;) Good luck on your build. PS, there is a great thread on proper replacement of the targa seals
