Howdy all,
Firstly, I would like to say thanks, this place is an amazing resource and has been invaluable for me over the last few months while rebuilding my 7M - cheers!
I have owned a few Supras since I was a kid, my first Mk2 I got when I was 20, I've had a couple more Mk2s and a Mk3 since then.
My current Supra is an '84 Mk2, It was a stock 3 speed auto to begin with but soon became a GTE powered W58 5 speed car.
I had some fun for a while but then BHG happened and I went through a series of cheap but knackered engines.
So finally I decided to bite the bullet and re-build the 7M properly, thanks to advice (mainly from here) I have had the block and head machined at a good shop.
Iv'e fitted new bearings and built the short motor up myself with new rings.
I used ARP studs and a Cometic MLS head gasket and it's looking good so far.
Probably a bit of an OTT introduction but I do get carried away!
Thanks for looking, Gray:icon_bigg
