Hi,
My name is jeff and I am new to this site and just thought I would introduce myself. I am not a current owner of a supra but have been a car enthusiast for a while and plan to be a owner within the next couple months. I have been waiting and saving money while finishing college (automotive tech) and going through a couple cars before deciding on a path to take. I initially had a beater Mercury cougar(major POS) which I traded in right when I graduated college for a mustang 00' Gt which I modded a little for a nice summer car.

I then got bored with that and honestly just disliked the interior and went shopping for a DD all year car for the snowy winters up in MN. I settled on an 04 SRT-4 Neon and decided I would build a project car on the side (Supra) . I hope I can learn a lot about the swaps and parts from you all. I have done multiple 3sge, gte, ge beams...well almost haha damn wiring got the best of that project, and a lot of other random swaps and engine work so im not so much a complete novice when it comes to toyota and their vacuum line shennanigans.

Right now I am looking for a clean running supra shell most likely mk3 and hopefully 1jz but I am not picky. If you like I can post up pictures of the dodge its pretty basic atm just intake, vacuum line reduction, adjustable wastegate, aftermarket boost gauge, hks ssq Bov. I basically just tried to make it as simple as possible and clean somewhat BPU. By far the best thing that sold me on this Dd was the seats+stereo combo and not the huge wing (which is off).

Cheers!:bigthumb:

I actually live right near the fairgrounds on the other side of the bridge towards midway area. I usually go to porky's and cruise down to check out the imports hopefully to see some supras, fd, fc etc. I have actually seen a couple mk3 down here one is gray primer auto I beleive and another blue 5sp but I think his is on craigslist for sale now. Yours looks great by the way and I love those rims!

Ummm....... Well Steve and I have both been down to porky's ;) We both have gray supra, his 91, mine 89. But not primer, actual paint, lol. I have yet to see any other mk3's down there. Steve might have since he lives closer and goes down there alot more then I do. We'll have to meet up next time you head down there. Im guessing you will bring your "skittle" :p.

Yeah I sometimes tag with my friend in his celica GT-s and also sometimes we take his viper truck down there. Were kind of our own group of dodge/toyota owners but were working on his 88 celica all-trac atm to get the 3sGTE done. Yeah definitely anytime your thinking of going to university ave. just stop down by the tre chau more towards the capitol. We hang out usually by the chiropractic clinic as it is a nicer lot and most supras chill there. My other friend from school sometimes brings his uncle down with his mk4 too :)
