make your own harness. it's pretty easy. all you need is some good wire and a relay or two. i'm sure you could find them on ebay.

If you get good e-codes make sure you get the version as used in Germany or any other LHD Euro Country. Otherwise you will get a flare on the left hand side and will blind everyone.

And as for a harness, its a good idea to use one so you draw direct current from the battery with little to no degradation and maximum output.

bert, yes, there's a huge differece. i'm sure each car and it's associated wiring would be different, but i re-wired the headlights on my '94 toyota 4x4, (uses the same headlights as the supra) and the difference was amazing. like night and day, literally. (and i already had sylvania silver star lights in there)

and i just made my own harness. it was easy.

I installed a harness on my DD Celica as well as my Supra and tested the voltage under load at the headlight before and after the harness installation. There was right at two volts more at the headlight with the harness installed(If I recall, it was 11 volts stock and 13 with the harness). Once you add in high wattage bulbs, the difference is noticeable and well worth it. The harness I got from Summit is APC brand and I've had no problems with it at all. I'm running 55/100 watt bulbs in Hella e-code lamps and have no complaints.

Edit - Looks like Summit doesn't carry this part any more. I checked the part number on Summit's site and it was invalid, so I called them and was told the item is no longer available.

"APC part number 509101

Summit Racing part number SUM-890032

You may want to confirm that these numbers are still good and apply to a Supra."

I've got a wiring harness, brand new, that I'm not using.
Bought it from SupraSport back in the day...
Anyone wants to send me an offer, feel free. I'd rather someone use it.
