Heater core bypass, how to?

That is not true, Jdub is right, the heater valve blocks off flow when it is shut. so this would be no different. Check out the link he posted. It is nice to have heater core for extra cooling if it gets hot in emergency.

well with my core bypassed i can feel coolant flowing through the bypass hose so...

You mean other than hooking the inlet and outlet together?

lol i guess the pictures i seen thus far they have been doing it all wrong... which is the inlet and outlet just for kicks? What about the coolant thats in the heater core?

Back to this once i loop the inlet and outlet together than i just cap off the nipples on the firewall???????????????????:nono:

That'd work. And what diff does it make which is the inlet and outlet if they're coupled?
