heat questions

so i have an issue with my heat in my car the vents dont change except for the floor if i put it on defrost the vents facing me blow out also and what not I looked into it more today and it looks like the door is broken inside the heater box for that..is that a hard job to pull apart???i have a rhd 1jz but i am sure the flap is the same...
also i either have hot or cold no inbetween so when i was lookin at tht also i noticed that it doent move on the syncomotor until i am either at hot or cold.. so its either going to be the motor or the panel i am leaning towards the panel.. now is that control panel interchangable threw the rhd to reg supras?? any help is great thanks

Could be the CC amplifier.

what is the cc amplifier.... i know when i look at the syncromotor for the different vent settings i can see the arm moving up there but it doesnt change so i am going to go on a hunch its that.. but what is the cc amplifie??

Climate Control, the heat/ac controller on the dash drives ALL of the doors and valves.

so you mean the main thing that I use to change fan speeds and all that?? and if u mean that i am kinda leaning towards that for the issue with the cold and hot... but i dont know if the one from a can/usa supra can be swapped into mine..

Not sure on the pinouts but I imagine they're interchangable LHD/RHD.

I'm guessing yours isn't a digital readout one?

yea its not a digital one are they all only digital in usa/can?? and do u know what year's to get them from??? as I will phone around and see about finding one.... the other reason why i am leaning towards the cc being gone is because i have no low setting on my fan.. but when i put it on automatic it works on a low speed at times and i figure if the fan had no low it wouldnt work either on auto..

I "think" the non digi ones were RHD only if the LHD got them it would have been the very early ones ie: 86.5's.

The Fan thing may just be a broken rheostat in the heater box, mine died recently.

The low speed blower motor resistor is Toyo part # 87138-24030 iirc. gl.
