Does anybody know if these "4656 or 4651" housings can be found in a non-sealed beam where you are able to replace the bulb just like the H6054 (h4) housings? (the housings im talking about are narrower than the H4 square lookin ones)
I am looking to do the same setup as the pic below with the smaller rectangular lens and a round projector, but Im curious if anybody knows where to get the housing with a replacable bulb so i can throw some HID's in there?

Either what I just suggested, or whatever it may be that this person has for the rectangular housing!?

Thanks for your help!

Pull the bulb out and stick the HID in there. They're not really a "sealed beam" like old bulbs, but a housing with a normal H4 style bulb glued in.

NO! Don't do that. PLEASE!

Those reflector housing with HID = one huge glare monster since there is no cut off built in.

actually, there is since they're low beam only...

HID do not come with cut off built in. that is part of the projector assembly. In a reflector style housing, a HID will be a glare monster with no cut off. Regardless if it is the low or high beams.

Very true:) As I have H6054 housings with 8000K HID's in them, and its a huge area of light! no cutoff what so ever. But it is deffinately alot better than the stock halogens on the road, (besides blinding other cars:icon_razz)
