I noticed tonight that my driver side headlight is dim when on bright, so, I switched the headlight out with a good one from the now gone parts car. When I turned it on bright it was also dim. What could be causing that. If it matters, the driver side fog light is out as well. When I say dim, I am referring to it having that rusty kinda glow that's not very bright.

Low voltage of course. No doubt due to voltage drop across a connector or ground path. As in most cars the stock headlight wiring in this one is very poor. Best thing is to redo it and use the original wiring to pilot the new stuff. Btw, the fogs won't work if the headlights burn out. It's not a very good design.

Yeah it figures. Low beam works great and both appear to be equal. The fog light died a slow death. It became very dim for a while and then just died. I've been too lazy to check the bulb. It's on the "To Do" list.
