i see that makes since...lol i love turbos. as far as IJ im not saying it cant be done just not the best thing for the average person. yea i didnt think about the weaght ether that is a good point? my point was that someone who has never handled that power to weaght ratio is gonna have trouble with controling the car. unless they build the engine part by part then they will learn slowly as the car slowly gains hp or not so slowly for thouse with more money lol.

i love turbos to, it makes sence to me just fine and im not scared of that much power ive been arould the block with the whole nitrous thing on my caprice and i dont nun a small 100 shot of that.:naughty:

I hear the worries about wearing out the cams faster...

Keep this in mind. These springs are not that agressive really. (Not much more than the stock 2JZ pressures IIRC.)

The coil bind is better even though the springs are slightly longer than stock, but the wire is smaller diameter, and it allows for more spring compression before coil bind as a result.

We checked a stocker v/s the Comp Cams BBC inner valve spring, and it was better in every way than the stocker for performance.

They are not so agressive your going to float a valve at maximum TCCS RPM, and I'd say you could rotate this engine with these springs to 7500rpm with few if any problems.

For the money, there is no better alternative that I know of spring wise.

Valve stem wise, the shop doing your valve job will just file/grind down the ends of the valves to get the right clearance value for each valve. (They have to do this anyway when the seats are cut, it changes the overall length of the valve when seated v/s the end of the stem, and that changes the cap/lifter/shim to cam lobe clearance.)

Your talking about bearings for the cams?

I coated mine with molydisulfied, and it seems to have worked pretty good. (It helps to restore the worn cam caps, but does not add so much material that your going to get too little clearance there.)

If you could get roller bearings like they use on marine engines, that would be awesome! It would be expensive however. You might pick up a few ponies at the dyno, and your fuel economy would improve too I'd think. (Less drag to turn the cams.)

I did mine, it was not that hard, but I'm pretty mechanically minded.

Larger valves are a must. (Mine are 1mm over size compared to stock.)
I don't suppose you took before and after photos for us?
