Soak it in paint thinner.

I posted a thread covering this awhile back that was recently updated
(I stripped mine last week)

This is exactly what I need. I'm going to re-use the HKS gasket. Thanks!

On stock boost, no worries. But if you are aiming at about 25lbs, i would suggest a new head gasket. 400 buck is cheap when compared to 400 for a new gasket and whole engine after you blow it.

You don't blow your engine when the head gasket goes, actually it is used as a failsafe in some drag racers to prevent bigger damage

btw, I would reuse the hks as well if it still looked ok
