i have a 7mgte basically stock, but when i get up to full boost (which is 8 lbs right now) there is a problem with it dying, if it does not die then the rpms drop really low. i am kinda thinkin maybe a vaccum leak or something but extra advice is always a good thing. where should i start to resolve this?

ok well i have a full 3 in turbo back exhaust with a ddp, i have an apexi electronic boost controler and a 1.5mm mhg and arp head studs... when i got the car the guy had it on 10lbs and i turned it down to 8. i figured 10 was a little high on stock everything

Well in that case it doesn't sound like fuel cut if the car is capable of reaching higher levels of boost. Unless the problem developed after you got the car (and turned down the boost)...did the car have this issue when you bought it?

At this point we're just guessing though, until you do some tests (I know you said the car isn't with you). When you do have the chance to start checking things, this http://www.cygnusx1.net/supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=FI&P=14 should give you a good idea of what to do and in what order.

i didnt have any problems untill i left for the navy and let my dad drive it... then he said it was having some issues and stopped driving it i think i am goin to just redo all the vaccum lines and all the hoses and such when i get it up here with me... and when i do that double check and make sure everything was where is was supposed to be. after i run codes of course
