Same thing happened to me and the timing on the distributor has to be pretty close to 10 degrees BTDC before it will start. Also, let it sit a while before starting it because the plugs are prob soaked in fuel. Unless you want to take each one out and torch the ends with a flame.
To put the distributor in time.
Put piston 1 at 0 degrees TDC, then take the Distributor cap off and make sure the arm is about 5-10 degrees after the plug wire #1 contact. Line your distributor up according to the TSRM.

Make sure you don't mix up Clockwise and counter-clockwise like i did!!!
damn man well i got my supra runin and you where right but i was 180 degrees of and the crank shaft needed to be tighten,
