so first my MAF craps out, now the snap ring that came with the intercooler kit from ebay that is supposed to hold down my SSQV is much to large to fit in. Hardware store didnt have any nearly that sized and the parts store i work at doesnt either. this is the only thing holding me back from driving my car and is ridiculous that it is something so trivial. sorry just had to vent. And until someone talked me out of it i almost ghetto rigged it down with jb weld. and realized how stupid that woulda been.

i also am having a week like that kinda. got my turbo in (which has been the cause of me only driving my car 4 out of the last 12 months..), was missing a fitting, and was clocked incorrectly.

got it together and it moved under its own power for the first time in a month and a half and now i think i may have a leaky hg.... {shakes head} i just want to drive my car! i dont care if its powerful at this point i just want to be able to drive it around town!

I had the too large of a snap ring for the flange happen to me too. Go to a hydraulics shop, they can help you no problem. Or just order just an SSQV snap ring and gasket, worked for me.
