I took my turbo off and need to replace the oil line gaskets and the gasket for the radiator lines, would it be ok to make my own out of fel-pro gasket material? I have done this before on a harder task (92 civic throttle body) but I can't find them locally anywhere and there isn't a toyota dealer within 50 miles of me.

what exactly are the gaskets called? I'll see how much it will cost me if I get them from a toyota dealer, but I think if I have to I will be ok, I have made these gaskets before and never screwed them up.

Tried that one and did not come out well. Worked for the time being BUT I already planned on relpacing it anyways so I wasn't driving it, with it like that

Well what are you guys talking about? Making them out of sealer, or cutting them from fel pro gasket material? I have never seen someone take their time and mess up on the fel-pro.

For what it's worth, I was using a gasket cut from a coca-cola 24 pack box for 6 months, no prob. Next 6 months on one from a pepsi box, similar lack of problems!
<disclaimer: fantastic ghetto rigging is just how I roll, don't emulate it... also, those gaskets were only for the spot where the TB meets the intake Mani.>
<Disclaimer to previous disclaimer: Despite previously mentioned ghetto fabulousness, still haven't blown anything up or BHG'ed.>
