Have I reached the limit of my stock Fuel System?

I have my car tuned and one of the only problems I have left is that If I am under full boost (12psi) high up in the RPM range (3500 up) for at least 4 seconds and at most 9 seconds the car goes real lean, then normal, then lean, then normal each second, the tune is fine, I am almost positive, I assume it is the fuel, but is there anything else to check?

Is this to be expected on stock fuel?

I've ordered a walbro, and need to get a AFPR

you have no fuel pressure regulator? Just the stock one? Also stated above you have a stock Ct-26 turbo, 57 trim 60 trim?

I would suggest at least getting a walbro and a fuel pressure regulator i.e Aeromotive right now, you do not need 550CC injectors yet with the info you have provided us.

In the meantime dont be running it, because when your running lean like that under boost shit can hit the fan fast.

In case you missed it, don't floor it for a while. Drive normal until you can upgrade.

or just back up on the boost ;)

Can I do the walbro and 12v rewire safely without a better fuel pressure regulator?

I don't want to buy a shit one, I want the aeromotive kit from driftmotion, and have to wait until two fridays from now to get one.

thanks for all the replies

You can run the walbro with the stock fpr. You'll just need to drill out the J tube..and get a AFPR ASAP.
He can do this as long as it's not his FPR that's buying the farm. Admittedly, it's unlikely to be any worse than it currently is with a walboro in there, but he needs to understand that he can't drive it at WOT until this is fixed.

I'll be the devils advocate and say it's your O2 Sensor(Lambda). If not, maybe your sensor on your wideband is bad which is leading you to think you're running lean. Basically, check your sensors. Replace if necessary.

I won't need to worry about avoiding WOT as boost has been turned down to stock level, and I don't have an issue there

My o2 sensor is disconnected so I can take advantage of maft pro's PT Tracking

Wideband is brand new, as of less than a month ago

Have anything to do with the boost levels you are running??????????

How dose this sound:

Spend $10k on your fuel setup then research (hint on SM top HP list) on what you MIGHT need ;)

I just cut and pasted a mod list, didn't filter it, figured those helping me would know this

I plan to spend about 300-400 on my fuel setup (AFPR, WALBRO, DRIFTMOTION KIT, eventually 550cc injectors) as I am planning on anything near the top HP list
