have a r154 question for the experts

alrighty guys i know a guy who has a *750* hp sc300, hes gonna swap in a getrag, but his current tranny is interesting. he claims its a rare DOUBLE SYNCHRO r154, 1 of about 2000 made he says and hes done the marlin crawler upgrades to it. hes the only person who says these trannies exist. so im asking you guys if they are real life and how much a good price would be. i think it has about 70k miles on it. 3000 since marlin mods.

Never heard of that.

The Saturn sky had triple come syncros. It's not a r154 tho very close.

The chevy Colorado/Solstice/v6Camaro all have the AR-5 that uses triple cone synchros. Practically internally identical other than that

I believe JZX110 has upgraded R154. I Have to ask Jeff Lange for more details.
