hatch making alot of noise

I replaced the bump stops in my hatch today and the rattle is gone. I would like to find the person who engineered that and bitch slap 'em. I about peeled the skin off my right palm trying to get those screws out. Luckily for me, my palm was toughed up from all those years of, you know, twisting my own screwdriver. :naughty:

Rattle is gone and I don't smell exhaust fumes anymore.

lol so i was right, mine had the same problem but I got MKIV Cusco pillowballs to fit, much bigger difference from the stock ones, glad to hear you fixed it:biglaugh:

Sorry to dig this thread from the grave, but I just struggled with the bumper screws and discovered a very easy way to get them out. If you rip apart the old rubber stopper, you'll expose the screw heads, which can be then unscrewed with a metric 8 socket wrench.

At first I was using a dremel to slice a slit in the screw head. no thank you.
