SupraNicholai has done it on SF. you can buy the projector lights @ www.rallylights.com they are 90mm round lights, it will run you about $200-$400 not including mounting hardware (which as to be custom fab'd)

Awesome, thanks for the info. Now I just need to be able to get an account on SF, anyone know why new accounts are locked?

Actually now I'm scared, because the ones I bought said 86-92 AE86 SUPRA... hah. Does the AE86 use the same sealed beams as the MKIII? Hope so if that's the case.... jeez. It did say it fits 7x6", which the other ones that only said SUPRA also said.

I have them on my car. The quality is not the greatest. I had to trim the sides a bit with a dremel tool to make them fit. also, one of the "projector lenses" was glued in crooked and I had to take it apart and re-do it. Everything looks fine now and it's definatly possible to do an HID conversion. You just need to use a quarter of the middle circular part of a pop can on the bottom inside part to keep the light from the HID from blinding people on the road... a little hard to explain... I havn't done it myself but one of the guys at work did it to his truck. You will have to do some wiring work also.

Oh, and you wont have high beams anymore either... unless you find a way to put the stock bulb in there too.

I got a set from Hella and they worked great. They are bit more expensive bcuz it's DOT Approved for the street. They don't look as good as the diamond cut light but are street legal and don't blind on coming traffic.

I would like to throw some fodder on the fire here.

PLEASE DO NOT GET CRITICAL PARTS JUST BECUSE THEY LOOK SLIGHTLY COOLER!

Would you buy a set of cardboard brake pads if they looked really kick @$$???

Unless you are never going to drive at night please make 100000000% sure that whatever you change your lighting to performs at least as well as stock. We don't need to be on the road endangering ourselves and others because we bought some light that looked cool but did not perform as well as stock.

I LOVE my Hella H4 upgrade with PIAA bulbs. The lighting is an actual improvement over stock.

I am also in development (and have been for a long time so shut it) on a headlight project for my 89 that should blow the doors off even the Hella/PIAA combination.

There is an old saying... "You get what you pay for." Don't cut corners on your safety equipment - even if you don't care about your own safety please think about this for the sake of the rest of us that may meet you on some dark and rainy road.

Sabotage: Thanks for the backup on this.

Don't get me wrong... I am all for making something look cool for the sake of making it look cool - even if it doesn't increase performance.

What I am against is making something look cool just for the sake of making it look cool if it actually decreases performance - or causes possible safety problems.

+1 keith

I know what you mean but these lights seem to be working better to the stock lights I had before in my supra but it also seems thats there are mixed reviews about these lights as I didnt have to mod them at all like lexus tech did.
