I now have a turbo to rebuild and swap with my current one. So has anybody used this kit before, or can point me in the right direction if it's crap? I'm looking to get the complete kit just for good measure. Also, I haven't decided if I will be rebuilding it myself or not. The only thing that would hold me back is lack of time. Working on it three times a day for ten minutes each at work doesn't seem like the best way to tackle it.

Thanks

Rebuilding a turbo requires it to be rebalanced, so no, I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself as the machine needed to do the balancing is specialized and expensive.

Send it out (some of the forum vendors do rebuilds)

I suggest driftmotion, they do rebuilds and even upgrades, highly respected on supramania and throughout all of socal

Yea my friend had his sent there for a 57 trim I think it was. I may look around here in my area as well to see if there are any respected shops that can do it quick. There is oil in the intercooler piping so the sooner the better.
