I had them. The front end looked nice, but the rear dropped about .5-1 inch. The ride IS crappy. Very bummpy. I would just buy brand lowering springs and be better off. Its almost the same price. Or save up for real coilovers later.

My friend tried cheaping out on a set of these for his celica.
The mount had to be drilled out as the hole was too small.
It made the car ride like it was on solid springs, and it actually RAISED the car almost an inch when it was on it's lowest setting. Basically, it sucked.

Ok I don't even know what to call them but yes they are junk and I wouldnt even think about putting them on my car.The reson is well they don't even look like they fit on the sturt they look like they came off a civic and it looks like it would have a lot of movment even when the springs compresed. Now for some cars like a civic and dsm's your don't need one piece coilovers that go for 1,000 or more you could get a set up like that for like 300$ there not as good but it's whats your looking for.I havent seen a coilover set up like that for cars and how that looks on there I wouldnt do it even if your not racing or what ever your said.

Now the best set up for you is go with a nice shock spring set up eibach springs with tokico shocks are a nice ride for nothing crazy like coil overs or you could go with hnr springs if you want to go a lil lower. This is what I would do if I was you save some money in the long run befor you break shit and is you want adjustability your gana have to pay the big bucks o and trust me it's worth it.

sorry I'm a bad speller

The springs didnt fit, i had to take this piece from the shock out for it to fit. Good thing i blew my motor before it was too late because i notice that the struts are giving up, i could see there are some cracks on the perches of the struts. I don even want to think wat would have happened if i kept on driving with them. Not recommended

first the stock struts are probably over 15 years old on any car that you buy... I would ONLY ever attempt this if I just bought brand new struts for your car otherwise the stock ones are doen... they where done 7 years ago actually but they just hung on for dear life to get you to here. Now you want to lower on them... Shame on you!!

EG??

And thank you all for you input. Shitty ride:3d_frown: , i will take the advice and just get a normal set of lowering springs. I have used lowering springs in the past and worked fine. THX

And on a side note. I have never drove or ridden in a ""tunner"" honda and had it ride nice.

Yea, dont get this dude, it will not lower your car in the rear as it should be. The front will, and this is just for look. At the end the total was $200.00 and the eibach pro set from CK is at $199.99. Anyways, ride will be bumpy like hell. And then the car bounces a lot.

I would run a set of poorly cut stock springs before I would even think of runn that crap. :3d_frown: Also you can get a set of second hand coilovers for a decent price if you search the classified section on here or that other supra site. There was just a set of tiens that I remember seeing for $450, I have also remeber a set of D2 coilovers brand new go for $600 shipped. If you are patient enough you will find a good deal.

Well i just droped $1300 today on forged internals for this 7m. So what about mk3 owners???????????????? cheap, ya some and other just know where to spend the $$$$$$ where it counts. Sorry if i dont feel like droping another $1000 because "it looks cool"

hate to break it to ya, but forged internals aren't going to do much when you're whipping around a corner and your suspension isn't up to par. ;)

and why would you spend so much money on the motor to make it peform so well, then have crappy suspension that can't put that power to the ground? and if you're not building a high powered motor, then why bother with forged internals?

Yep and big FRONT tires:3d_frown: . LOL again not trying to rip anyone but im looking for info on these springs.
thanks

who are you to judge? until you've built a car of the same proportions, i suggest you keep your snide remarks to yourself.

First of all im not planing whipping around any corners since my first supra (87 turbo) I wrapped it around a light pole at 90 because i was going way to fast, and springs wouldnt have helped me. (learn the hard way i did) And second forged internals is because in my 89 turbo i burnt up piston, broke a rod and spun a bearing, all in 3 differnt motors. plus others. So this time i want to do it right or at least better. High powered i dont know yet, but in my last 89 the td-06 had in that had plenty of power for me. And yes please fill this threat full of check you oil, watch your temp. gauge, add more fuel, or what ever you want. I have the money to build this 7m so im going to do it.
I hope just to piss off people i wast money on internals and build this 7m and stick a stock turbo at 6.8 lbs. of boost and make all 200HP. Maybe even go to the grocery store and pick up some milk and bread for my self so i can make some toast. But i guess that is why i have a Caddy with 300 hp, to do that.

love, peace, and chicken greese

Unfortunatley I have to admit that I purchased those 4~5 years back for my NA supra. I had no money and my struts and springs were shot, I saw those and thought Cool! :3d_frown: After installing them and driving for all of 6 min I knew I had been screwed. Horrific ride quality and unstable in corners would be an understatement(worse than blown shocks and bad stock springs). Three days later I installed eibach springs and was lower and comfortable, $300 poorer but you get what you pay for.
